Farmers say ‘yay!’

The ants run away

Days of heavy rain

Car enthusiast says ‘Yay!’

May be water restrictions will be lifted

Farmers say ‘NO! Not my crops’

Sold all books

Author says ‘yay!’

Customer so ‘no, you must have a copy for me!’

House prices are up

Owners selling say ‘yay!’

First time buyers in dismay

Sun

In spring we say ‘yay!’

End of summer ‘go away!’

Start of Spring ‘it’s so warm today’

Start of Autumn ‘it’s getting cooler every day’

Those ants do have

Dancing in a line

Little red shoes

Going tap, tap, tap

Queen ant is heard

Loud and clear

“Snap, snap”

They boogie on down

Into their hole

Shakin’ their bootys

And having a ball

Today’s their day

The sun is shining

And the big shoes in the sky

Have passed them by.

Right before my googly eyes

I had my rose coloured glasses on

So the inside of a blood orange

Was the outside of this orange orange

So it seemed

To me at least

Who gets around in green track suit pants

Bobbles around down town in green

And pretends she’s invisible, can’t be seen

I enjoy a good prance

A whistle and a giggle

And a roll down a hill

Where a hill arises

Sound like fun?

Come join me if you want

Just meet me in your cape

On the invisible pebble perch

And we’ll have a gander and a yarn

Go on

Let me twist your arm.

To slide down the side of

Green swirly sky

Warm breeze tickles me

Lols about between thick trees

Dropping leaves, laughing like  it’s a game

Happy creatures climb over the piles

Of leaves on their paths to

To where they are going

Fairy gangs wait by the water for supper

Served by the moon on a twinkling platter

Splat in the water go droplets

Skydiving from clouds

Rain for the party

Sparkling the sky in the moonlight.

Tummy muscles ache

Signs of a good time

Keep it in mind

Pull it out when the tall dark thoughts walk the halls

Standing over, shadowing small smiles on the floors

Pull out a memory that drags the mind with it

To float in joy above dark thoughts

See them go by without grabbing

And being taken for a ride.

Or floating

Floating, I like floating

Above them, on top

Gently rocking

Not washing, tumbling in the waves

Hurts the head when they crash on you

Float over, aware and unattached.

Sounds wash around in the mind

Concentration run out

Slid off track

When I went ’round a corner too fast

Rushing around my little home

Busy cleaner bee

Preparing the nest for the other busy worker bee

Coming home from work.

I see anger

I see agitation

I see one breath

I see calm

2 seconds later

Watching, watching what do I see?

The moving movie I forget isn’t me.
